Have you seen our new street banners? Thanks to a grant from the Texas Certified Farmers Market Corporation our association was able to purchase and hang street banners, advertising the our markets. We are really hoping the banners will let people know where we are and will encourage them to buy local and eat fresh.
Let the farmers know what you think of the banners, we are anxious to hear.

Eating seasonally and purchasing locally is important for local agriculture and it's good for your health. Produce that is picked when it is ripe contains more vitamins and minerals than food that is picked green. Those vitamins and other nutrients begin to decline as soon as the produce is picked. Our farmers pick at the peak of ripeness for the best flavor and highest nutrient content. Then they take special care of the produce to ensure it arrives to you in the best condition possible.
